No because the pool is less than 5 feet so he would not drown

    No, he won't be drowned.

    Explanation:

    We have given,

The height of the student = 5 feet,

Depth of the pool (in feet) = x (say) < 5 feet,

Since, the depth of the pool < height of the student,

Thus, if the student went for swimming in a pool, however he does not know swimming, he will not be drowned until he is suffering from an injury or external force.
