A grandfather clock is constructed so that it has a simple pendulum that swings from one side to the other, a distance of 27.0 mm, in 1.00 s. What is the maximum speed of the pendulum bob?

    Mathematically;

    Speed = Distance/time

    Distance = 27.0mm

    Time = 1.00secs

    Since 1000mm = 1m

    27mm = (27/1000) m

    Speed of the pendulum = 0.027m/s
