    K E = 29.4 J

    Explanation:

    given,

mass of the toy = 3 Kg

    height of fall = 1 m

    acceleration due to gravity (g) = 9.8 m/s²

Kinetic energy of the toy = ?

    Using conservation of energy

Potential energy of the toy at height h will be converted into into kinetic energy.

    P E = K E

    K E = m g h

    K E = 3 x 1 x 9.8

    K E = 29.4 J

Hence, the kinetic energy of the toy before it hit the ground is equal to K E = 29.4 J
