    We can solve using the formula for gravitational potential energy (GPE = mgh)

    M (mass) = 20 kg

    g (gravitational constant) = 9.8 m/s^2

    GPE = 1000

    1000 = 20*9.8*h

    1000 = 196h

    h = 5.102 meters
