Determine the centripetal force acting upon a 40-kg child who swings in a circle at a speed of 3 m/s. The radius of the swing is 20m.

    That would be mv^2/r = 40*3^2 / 20 = 18 N

    F = mv^2 / r

    40*3^2 / 20

    360/20 = 18
