    Potential energy: U = mgh

    Given: m = 5 g (convert to kg),

    m = 0.005 kg and U = 1.1 J

    and g = 9.8 m/s^2

    Using the equation

    U = mgh

    Plug in what we know:

    1.1 = (0.005) (9.8) h

    Solve for h:

    (1.1) / (0.049) = h

    Then h = 22.45 m
