Suspension, chemistry definition is a heterogenous mixture, meaning one substance is different from another, when mixed, either of the substance (particularly the solid one), do not mix evenly. It could clearly be seen when one mixes a solution in a suspension state because it forms a cloudy solution, Best example of this is mud. In mud, though there is a mixture of solid and liquid, there is still evident traces of solid particles that do not mix evenly in the solution.
