205 kg, including the driver and load, and the net force acting on the sled is 744 N to the north. What is

the sled's acceleration?

    Newton's 2nd law: F = m a

    Divide each side by m :. a = F/m

    Plug in the 2 given numbers:

    a = 744N / 205kg

    Acceleration = 3.63 m/s^2 north
