    Absolutely, as anomilies can show inconsistencies with data and hypothesis they may have and may actually assist in refining the accuracyof their ideas by not only encompassing the most commonly-occuring phenomena, but also the more seldom occuring scenarios as well.

    Anomalies are important to verify the validity of the conclusions about experimients and can be the key to reinforce or disapprove a hypothesis. It can also contribute adding second observations about a single experiment.

    Conducting experimients is a hard task by many reasons and one of them is collecting and interpreting data. If a scientist is not careful, He/She may bypass anomalies and get to misleading conclusions. Anomalies are important because allow us to question if the experiment was carried out properly and if its method can also lead to other observations than the ones stated by the scientist.
