    Torque or moment force is a force that is related to rotational motion. It is the force that causes a system to rotate on an axis. It has units of N-m. To calculate, we multiply force by the radius of the rotation. We do as follows:

    T = F x r

    T = 70 (9.8) (.5)

    T = 343 N-m
