Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) are difficult situations that a child goes through during his early years. These have a great impact on an individual's future behavior. Effects of ACE's include the propensity to the victimization of an individual or, on the other hand, the propensity to inflicting violent acts towards others.

In order to prevent this, it is essential for caretakers to ensure a safe environment for children to grow and develop their personality. This is achieved by promoting a non-violence culture not only households but also in schools. Most importantly, there is no better example one can give kids than behaving in a non-violent way.
