Cargo cults are a type of revitalization movement in response to new contact with industrial societies.

    Answer: Option B

    Explanation:

Cargo cults are mainly prevalent in New Guinea and Melanesia. These movements started as a reaction to the industrialised goods like radio, etc. When the tribal people first saw these goods/cargo they were unaware as to how they are produced.

But they started imitating like the westerners and started worshipping in the hope that spirit would send more cargo's to them. They believe that these cargoes are created by their ancestors and deities and also believe that these cargoes were made for them but foreigners are using them.
