Michael notices that every time he gets what he calls an "adrenalin rush," his heart rate and pulse quicken and he feels a surge of energy. He also notices that lately it takes his body longer than normal to return to feeling calm and normal. What might explain Michael's delay in coming down from his "adrenalin rush"?
