Assumptions made about fingerprints are no two people can have the same fingerprint. The problem with this is that there is no scientific basis for that, there has never been a scientific study to prove that.

    Answer: The existence unique fingerprints.

    Explanation:

Hi, it is assumed that everyone has a unique fingerprint from which they can be quickly identified through a computer database

However, the prints are not considered scientific evidence, is still a presumption.

Human error, partial prints and false positives mean that fingerprints evidence is not as reliable as is widely believed.
