    It stunt their production in the beginning. But massively improved their production in their long run.

    Explanation:

    Georgia farmers used slave labors before the development of agricultural technology. When the technology was created, many farm owners in the Georgia started to use it in their farm.

    During the early transitional period, the investment that they made for purchasing the technology and the learning period kinda reduce the total profit that Georgia had from the farming sectors. But in the long run, the investment that they made for the technology eventually paid off. It massively increase their total production.
