    This kind of situation would constitute a receiver-oriented barrier which means that there was interference on the receiver’s side of things. Receiver-oriented barriers may be due to poor attention, mental turbulence (receiver is having some problems he is trying to solve mentally or any other kind of mental disturbance) or general lack of interest among other things.
