    When we are stimulated by a particular stimuli we react physiological and how our emotions will be is defined by our perception of that situation.

    If we meet a lion for example it stimulates our emotions of fear such that we start to tremble and our heart beats faster.

    Keane heart beat faster and breathing heavily due to the attraction he has towards the lady which may impose fear upon him deciding whether to approach a lady or not so he get physiological reaction due to his interpretation of how he feels about this lady.
