Which of the following statements is true regarding social engineering? At the most basic level, social engineering is a fancy term for a con job. The goal of the social engineer is to create a set of "facts" that are unbelievable to the subject. In most cases, targeting a single person is all that is needed to collect all the facts. The subject of a social engineering attack is often called the bulls-eye.

    Explanation: this is a modern for of exploitation. This type of people plays on the human mind (psycology) so tht they can exploit humans by gaining access to their system, taking their data and personal information and also gaining access to building. They can also be called con artist who poses as professional to make individuals divulge their password and bank details. A con artist for example may call a random individual and pose as a bank staff and confully makes customer divulge their bank details and thereby use that means to steal their money. They uses any means necessary to achieve their aim like deception and manipulations.
