Proposition 187 terminated all emergency healthcare for illegal immigrants who did not carry their own insurance. The proposition was submitted by concerned citizens of California because of the serious increase of illegal immigrants that are getting inside their state. The proposition is still argued in court as something very discriminatory against mostly Hispanic and Asian groups.
