    Answer: The American Colonists and England

    Explanation: In 1781, a German private named Georg Daniel Flohr, who fought with the French Royal Deux-Ponts on the American side at Yorktown, left one such account. Walking around the field of battle afterwards, he recorded in his diary that the majority of bodies on both sides "were Mohren [Moors]."
