    Difference between Treaty and Executive agreement:

    1. Treaty agreement:

    Treaty is a formal written agreement entered into international law, namely in sovereign states and international organizations.

    2. Executive agreement:

    Executive agreement refers only to the statement of agreement within the domestic law of the state.

    Important differences between treaty and executive agreement is treaty is a part of the supreme law of the land according to the supreme court. Executive agreement is merely understood between two heads of state.
