    D. Immigrants working in the United States are paid with the currency of their home countries.

    Immigrants work and live in the US, and very often their life is almost indistinguishable from those of the US citizens. They earn money like the citizens, get paid the same as the citizens (typically) (and in the same currency) and then they spend this money typically inside of the US (for which they need the dollars). If they want their money to be in a different currency, they would have to exchange it. They can send the money to their home countries (so answer B is correct) but they would have to exchange the currency.
