    Politics and race contributed massively, as it partly led to the destruction of the ''slavery system'', which eventually led to the US having a political class, which was able to build a stronger federal government,.

    The end of the WW1 meant the reconstruction of the US economy, as new legislation were enacted to build a more responsible federal government, which was tasked with creating an enabling environment for the US economy to thrive.
