    The Knights of Templars were rounded up and tortured until some confessed to the false charges.

    King Phillip, the late King of France, wanted to seized all the assets of the Knights of Templars. In order to seize all of their assets, he rounded up the Templar including the Grand Master and tortured them until someone confesses.
