    Explanation:

    Most of colonies built by the various countries that were involved in the colonization of America both North and south America including the Caribbean and Africa depended mostly on the Climate condition of the Areas.

    Most regions with very Good climate conditions were turned into settler colonies like with England building Settler colonies in the America while Regions with harsh weather conditions was turned into Trading posts by the colonists. the first commercial cash crop was sugar because most plantations in America as at the time of colonization were mainly sugar plantations.
