How do you think their perspectives of the Texas settlers in the Mexican Government would vary

This is what i know. We know that Texas had struggled for years to get their independence. The actual war that had achieved their independence from Mexico was brief. In the 1820’s Stephen Austin won the Mexican government’s approval to bring American families into a sparsely settled texas region.
