The theory of Social Darwinism is defined as "a modern name given to various theories of society that emerged in the United Kingdom, the United States and Western Europe in the 1870's, which claim to apply biological concepts of natural selection and survival of the fittest to sociology and politics." Basically, the stronger and wealthier (specifically in economics) will come out on top and the weak will be at the bottom in society.
