The best place to sit when turkey hunting, in order to protect yourself from being mistakenly identified as a wild turkey, would be against a large tree or a large rock or another large natural barrier. When sitting against one of these objects, you will want your back facing it. This natural barrier will provide ample protection as well as obscure you from direct sight.
