There are over 535 Bantu languages spoken across various parts of the continent of Africa such as the region around the African Great Lakes and Central Africa and Southern Africa. The term Bantu is a general label for up to 600 different ethnic groups in Africa. A notable speaker of Bantu is Nelson Mandela.
