    Malala Yousafzai became an international icon because of her bravery to defy the talibans and stand against them for demanding the rights of education for the females. Malala was even shot by the Talibans because she would not give up on gong to school and acquiring education. Due to her bravery for demanding educational rights and to stand up for the rights of girls, she became a global icon. She was respected because she even risked her life for promoting the educational rights of children.
