Global public health had steadily improved in the past centuries especially the development of vaccines. Technically, vaccines are biological preparation that provides an active and acquired immunity to a particular disease.

The efficacy of vaccines is dependent on numerous factors which includes the disease itself, the vaccine strains, whether or not the vaccination schedule is strictly and properly observed, idiosyncratic response to vaccination (peculiar to an individual) and others.

The key ethical debates related to vaccine regulation includes mandates, research and testing, informed consent and access disparities.
