    Data collection of environmental sciences is done in the field. As the field is not a homogenous and regulated environment this collection goes through many limitations and difficulties that affect all research.

    Explanation:

    Environmental sciences deal with issues related to the environment, sustainability, biodiversity, bioeconomics, etc. The objective of this scientific area is to recover degraded or contaminated areas, promoting environmental conservation and sustainable development. Environmental sciences carry out environmental impact studies and conservation of environmental preservation units.

    As this is field research with direct contact with nature, environmental sciences face many challenges in order to collect efficient data for their studies. This is because the field is extremely heterogeneous and unregulated. Unlike other sciences that can search for data in more homogeneous and easy to evaluate places.
