    The Coral reef biome

    Explanation:

The coral reef biome is a distinct biome that is found in the ocean body, separating from the main ocean biome. This biome covers the region between 30° N and 30° S latitude. In this biome, the coral reefs are basically living organisms commonly known as the polyps. These polyps when dies settle at the bottom and becomes compacted. Again, subsequent polyps grow and settle on them, and this continuous process eventually leads to the formation and growth of the reefs.

This biome is mainly characterized by the warm and shallow type of water and provides a large amount of essential minerals and valuable nutrients to the living organism. So, it is biologically the most diverse type of marine biome.
