    Explanation:

    The metallic temperatures drop as well as the level or temperature of water rises, as the temperature including both water & steel is almost the same, zero heat transfer takes place. Molecules of liquid (water) will give energy benefit equivalent to either the energy lost via metal. Even before two entities interacted around the same degree they seem to be in thermodynamic equilibrium.
