    2W+2L=66

    W=1/2L

    2 (1/2L) + 2L=66

    Simplifies to L+2L=66

    Simplifies to 3L=66

    Or L=22.

    If W=1/2L, then W = 1/2 (22).

    W=11.

    To check our work, 2W+2L=66.

    2 (11) + 2 (22) = 66.

    22+44=66

    66=66 Check.
