    Protestantism is the second largest form of Christianity which originated in Germany as a protest against Roman Catholic Church. The moral code and work ethic is at the heart of Protestantism. As a result of that, work ethic was an important force and influence behind development of capitalism and the Industrial Revolution. By influencing the development of capitalism, economic system in which allowed free trade and globalism, Protestantism supported the trade in Europe.
