Actually the planet can sustain humanity in much larger numbers than most researchers say! The problem is not the size of the population but the strategies and methods we use to sustain ourselfs. The methods are distructive, not the nr of people. To improve the situation we need a major re-education of how we use earth's resources ... if you do a quick research you will be shocked how much we actually waste and theow away for the sake of mighty money. So in a way reducing the greed of corporations/mentality we will not need to reduce the population as it is advertised. Simple and small changes will have a huge impact in one generations time frame
