    The Spanish Colonization in America started in 1492. Their main motivation was to get rich and it was done through various forms of exploitation. They plundered lands in order to extract resources such as silver and gold. They were very successful in this mission when they conquered the Inca Empire. They also traded their goods in order to have more weapons, food, paper, etc. They also spread Christianity, which was an important religion for them. It had a huge impact to the indigenous people. It made the people believe and follow the rules of the religion.
