Ralph Waldo Emerson has a strong view of nature. He believes men should live in their most natural state, instead of living with a society. His dislike for societal norms can be seen in some of his works such as "Self-Reliance", in which he stresses the importance of individualism. Emerson believes strongly in a harmony between nature and mankind, where 'nature' represents a kind of divine entity. He defies the idea of community and believes that people should be one with nature, and that will be how you can use your true intelligence to its fullest.
