Energy consumption is higher in developed nations than in developing nations.

    Explanation:

Energy consumption is highest in developed countries and countries which have high populations. This is because of the presence of a lot of industries, more cars are owned per citizen in a developed country, and the is the high level of usage of domestic electrical appliances.

Therefore it is safe to say that with development, there will be a higher demand for energy, in order to meet up with the pace at which a geographic location is developing.

Hence, as a nation starts to undergo development, it starts to consume more energy than its counterparts which are less developed than itself.
