    Explanation:

    There are many federal government agencies, commissions and departments. They fall under four categories namely: cabinet departments, state corporations, independent agencie and regulatory commissions. Each of these have a special mandate to perform.

    While the congress is able to make or disband federal bereucracies, the agencies are answerable to the president.
