Why does your shadow appear to change over the course of the day? (I don't mean length wise, I mean from East to West) ?

    We orbit the sun so but we are also spinning on our axis. as we spin the sunlight sticks us in different angles so as to warp our shadows making them longer. Because we are also tilted on our axis the sunlight hits us at angles that aren't quite direct so our shadows seem to shift.
