    53.33 hours or 53 hours and 20 minutes.

    Explanation:

    Given, one travels at 45 miles/hr and another 30 miles/hour.

    Let, the slower broom, S1 = 30t

    According to the Question,

    S1 + 800 = 45t ... (1)

    S1 = 45t - 800 ... (2)

    t is constant for because time is equal for both.

    Now, putting (1) in equation (2),

    30t = 45t - 800

    30t - 45t = - 800

    15t = 800

    t = 53.33

    So, the answer is 53.33 hours.
