    The scarab beetle has many meanings. One is eternity or cosmic forces beyond our knowledge.

    In Egypt, it represented Khepri, the god of creation, a part of the sun god and rebirth.

    Rebirth was important because like the scarab Beatles which roll their balls of sings along the ground for the young to hatch out of it, the Egyptians wanted the heart scarab to guide them through the afterlife - life after death.
