    It revealed that Scrooge was always in school during Christmas break. He spends his time reading adventure books. No one from his family fetches him home. A few months went by before his sister fetched him to go home because their father deemed it for him to be home.

    Scrooge, I think, has been unwanted by his father that is why he was banished in a boarding school.
