    He wrote his first opera, Almira, in 1704. Two years before moving to Italy.

    Handel was a famous German composer who lived from 1685 to 1759.

    In 1710, he moved to London where he did most of his work and he died in this capital in 1759 at the age of 74. He's buried in the Westminster Abbey.

    His second opera was called Nero. Both Almira and Nero were produced in 1705. He had two more operas produced in 1708.
