When giving an informative speech about a person, you decide to tell a story. You spent a lot of time writing the story, and you want to get it just right. When it is your turn to present your speech, you forget part of your story. Luckily, you have the written story with you, so you read a few sentences to finish the story, and then move on to a visual aid. What did you do wrong

    Whenever a person has to deliver a speech or tell a story, it is essential that he maintains an eye contact with the audience. In the case stated in question statement, when you forget the story and read it out, then it gives a bad impression to the audience, you lack the eye contact and eventually the focus from the story can get disturbed also. Hence it is necessary to maintain the flow of the story and make it interesting
