What major shift did art experience due to the industreal revolution?

Art work was extreamly real, artist wanted to capture realism at an extreme. What the art often looked like was chaotic, hectic, and heavy to express the gravity of their work. Things and objects with the art was also lacking the softness of art work in other times, metal machinery fires and heavy objects convey this message.
