    The statue is the Statue of Liberty. This statue is made of a sheeting of pure copper with the exception of the flame of the torch, which is coated in gold leaf

    The 91.5 meters tall statue is located on an Island in New York Harbor, New York. Its external body is majorly made up of overlapping copper plates that are about 2.5mm thick. While the inside is made of cast iron and stainless steel. Its torch was coated with about 5.2 Oz of gold.

    It was built in 1880s by France as a gift to the United States of America.
