Who used poison to treat and heal sickness in the renaissance?

    Well, while it was popular for murder, it was used by Apothecaries to treat many diseases. But Paracelsus was the main physician in the 16th century to treat diseases, such as syphilis using sulphur, arsenic and lead. they used white arsenic in a balsam form to treat ulcers/wounds.
